Rajinikanth and Jyotika’s Chandramukhi 2, a follow-up to the 2005 film, got off to a fantastic start at the box office with a solid opening day haul of 7.5 crore. The movie, which was directed by P. Vasu, stars Raghava Lawrence and Kangana Ranaut in a dual part.

The film made 7.5 crore in total on its first day, according to early projections published by Sacnilk.com. On Thursday, the movie’s release in theaters was positively greeted.

Reception of the Chandramukhi 2 Audience

Thursday saw a significant 51.90% occupancy for the movie at Tamil theaters. In comparison, the Telugu and Hindi versions had occupancy rates of 42.65% and 12.77%, respectively. The release of Chandramukhi 2 coincided with Eid-e-Milad and Ganpati Visarjan in various regions of India, where it was up against the Hindi movies “The Vaccine War” and “Fukrey 3.”

Regarding Chandramukhi 2

The sequel to the popular Tamil horror comedy “Chandramukhi,” in which Rajinikanth and Jyotika starred as the leads, is titled “Chandramukhi 2.” Before the film’s debut, Raghava Lawrence recently asked Rajinikanth for his blessings. The legendary actor later praised Raghava Lawrence for his portrayal of the jailer in the successful project.

The voyage of a family to Chandramukhi’s home, where they are given the advice to avoid the southern block, is shown in the Chandramukhi 2 trailer. Kangana Ranaut portrays a dancer in the king’s court who is renowned for her beauty and dancing prowess, and Raghava Lawrence takes on the role of Raja Vettaiyan Raja, a figure who plays a supporting role in the mansion’s plot.

Technical difficulties caused the film’s initial September 15 release date to be postponed until September 28. The soundtrack for the movie was written by MM Keeravani. In addition to a family song, the film includes Raghava Lawrence and Kangana’s dance numbers, “Swagatam” and “Moruniye,” both of which were composed by Keeravani.
