The Whiskies of the World Awards rate more than 100 whisky variations from all over the world each year, making it one of the biggest whisky tasting championships in the world. Indian single malt whisky outperformed a wide range of international brands, including Scotch, Bourbon, Canadian, Australian, and British single malts, in an astounding win.

Indri, a homegrown brand produced by Piccadily Distilleries in Haryana, entered the Indian whiskey market in 2021 with the introduction of “Indri-Trinity,” the country’s first-ever Triple Barrel Single Malt. The Whiskies of the World Award redefines how spirits made locally are viewed while also positioning India as a powerful participant in the global whiskey landscape.

This distinctive Indri Whisky features aromas of smoke, candied dried fruits, toasted nuts, mild spices, oak, and bittersweet chocolate. It was cultivated in the harsh climatic conditions of North India’s dry regions.
With plans to start in November, Indri-Trinity will be made available in the United States and a few different European nations in addition to the 19 states in India and 17 other countries.
