Wanting to Play Lata: Shraddha Kapoor

Shraddha recently said, “I would also like to say Lata Mangeshkar,” to the question of whose biopic she would most like to appear in during a fan event. You never know, even though it’s a lofty goal.

Although it is a “big aspiration,” Shraddha’s genuine relationship to Lata Mangeshkar makes it even more intriguing. She has kept a strong friendship with the singer over the past few years because of her enthusiasm in singing, even after Lata’s tragic passing last year.

How Shraddha and Lata Are Related

Lata and her singer sister Asha Bhosle’s younger brother Pandharinath Kolhapure is Shraddha’s biological grandfather. As a result, Lata Mangeshkar’s niece is Shivangi Kolhapure, the mother of Shraddha. In addition, Lata’s grandniece Padmini Kolhapure is an actress.

Lata Mangeshkar provided unforgettable vocals for Padmini on a number of occasions, including the love film “Prem Rog” from 1982, which featured the well-known song “Yeh Galiyan Yeh Chaubara.”
