Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles is where actor Macaulay Culkin, who portrayed eight-year-old Kevin McCallister in the 1990 film Home Alone, unveiled his Walk of Fame star. Catherine O’Hara, who portrayed Culkin’s mother in the popular film, was reunited with him at the ceremony.
Catherine said to Culkin, “Thanks for including me, your fake mother who left you home alone not once, but twice.” Culkin was accompanied at the ceremony by two young songs, Brenda Song, his fiancée. “Home Alone is still and will always be a worldwide phenomenon. Macaulay Culkin is the reason families everywhere can’t watch and enjoy Home Alone for a whole year without getting together,” Catherine continued.
In celebration of his big day, Macaulay Culkin gave an emotional speech that highlighted his fiancée Brenda Song, and earned him a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
On Friday afternoon, Culkin, accompanied by Song and their two sons, accepted the 2,765th five-pointed terrazzo-and-brass star on Hollywood Boulevard in honor of the well-known actor from “Home Alone” and his 40-year career.
In a moving speech, Culkin expressed his gratitude to his friends and family. When he paid tribute to his children’s mother, who wiped away tears as she listened, he became very emotional.
I’m grateful to Brenda. You are everything at all. “You’re my hero,” he declared. “The only person who makes me happier today than I do is you. You’re the greatest person I’ve ever met in addition to being the greatest woman I’ve ever known. You’ve fulfilled every one of my goals. I have family because of you.”
In keeping with his signature line, “In the spirit of the holiday season, I just want to say, Merry Christmas, ya filthy animals,” he humorously ended his heartfelt message.
Present at the induction ceremony was Catherine O’Hara, known for her portrayal of Kate McAllister, Culkin’s on-screen mother. She expressed, ‘Home Alone holds a special place in the hearts of families worldwide, often becoming an annual tradition. Macaulay Culkin truly embodies the essence of the film, making it an enduring favorite.
Wearing a black double-breasted suit jacket over a classy white button-down, black trousers, and matching dress shoes, the man of the hour looked dapper. He wore a couple of gold rings as accessories and styled his hair into a spikey haircut with gel.
Song accessorized with Culkin in a black trench coat with ornate gold buttons over a sheer white top with ruffled details on the collar and down the middle. She wore the top with black trousers and pointed-toe boots to complete the look. She accessorized her freshly manicured red hand with her stunning sparkling engagement ring and tiny hoop earrings. Song had soft waves of caramel locks falling down her shoulders.
It was the couple’s rare public appearance, and the children looked chic and put together. Dakota, their oldest son, added some individuality to the ensemble by wearing a black combat boot and blue suit. He also styled his hair in a mohawk. Their seven-month-old son looked adorable in a white knit jumper, black and white zigzag vest, blue corduroy trousers, and white shoes.

Natasha Lyonne, an actor and friend, also spoke at the event. Party Monster, which was released in 2003, starred the two together.
In her early years, Lyonne began her professional acting career as well.
Mac, I’m really happy for you. When young actors survive, there’s an extremely uncommon and unspoken language that occurs between them, she jokingly said.
