Microsoft Paint 3D Now Available With Windows 10 Insider Preview Build

At its ‘What’s Next for Windows 10’ event in October, Microsoft revealed a completely redesigned painting application that goes by the name “Paint 3D.” The Redmond, Washington-based company has now released the updated painting app for use with the most recent Windows 10 Insider Preview build.

Put simply, Paint 3D gives users access to a wide range of tools that they can use to create paintings in both 2D and 3D. Although the app doesn’t introduce any novel technology, a variety of users can find it useful as a 3D painting tool due to its simplicity and ease of use.

Microsoft states that the Paint 3D app will be included in all Windows 10 builds starting with Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 14971. Upon opening the Paint app, you will be redirected to the Paint 3D Preview app. The Paint 3D app and Remix 3D, an online community for Paint 3D users, are currently only available in English; however, Microsoft has stated that support for additional languages will be added soon.

Microsoft also revealed that Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Ireland, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, and Switzerland are now part of the Remix 3D community.

Microsoft is adding EPUB file reading capabilities to its Edge browser with Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 14971, in addition to improvements to the Paint app. Microsoft Edge offers a reader-friendly interface when you open an unprotected EPUB file. It allows you to alter fonts, text size, and theme the file to light, dark, or sepia. In addition, you can use the table of contents, bookmarks, and search bar to find particular words or phrases within the content.

Furthermore, Microsoft has set PowerShellexecute from File Explorer as the default command shell with this Windows 10 Insider Preview Build. The operating system has also been improved and various bugs have been fixed in this build.

The Snipping Tool and Microsoft Paint are now offered on the Microsoft Store. Updates for these apps are now accessible through the Microsoft Store, even though they weren’t before. The Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 21354 will include this modification, enabling users to update these apps on a regular basis.

In a blog post, Microsoft announced that “MS Paint can now also be updated directly through the Microsoft Store.” “It comes with a new icon and is promoted out of the Windows Accessories folder to its own place on the Start menu.” Microsoft released the following statement regarding the Snipping Tool: “The Snipping Tool is now available in the Start menu and is not limited to Windows Accessories.” Insiders will now be able to update it through the Store, and it won’t longer be included in windows release.

We can anticipate these new features and enhancements to be released to regular Windows versions soon, as they are currently a part of a developer build.

Microsoft had declared at the start of the year that while Paint 3D and 3D Viewer would remain accessible through the Microsoft Store, they would not be part of fresh Windows installations.
