How Shilpa Shetty Reacted

Raj jokingly recalled, “I chose to inform her that I’m going to make a film when she (Shilpa) was a few feet away from me. I didn’t want to approach her too closely at that time. I informed her that I had a script and that I was watching for her response. A flying slipper struck me in the face as I moved aside. She probably initially thought the concept was a little difficult. Perhaps she believed that the movie would never be created,” he added.

Raj also explained how Shahnavaz Ali’s brief synopsis of the movie helped him persuade Shilpa. She received a very brief summary from him (Shahnavaz).
