The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially published the dates for the UGC NET exam in December 2023. The NTA will run the UGC NET December 2023 cycle from December 6 through December 22, 2023.
NTA will run the UGC NET application procedure between September 30 and October 28 of 2023. In addition, the first session of the UGC NET 2024 exam is planned to take place between June 10 and June 21 of that year.
Candidates seeking to be considered for Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) jobs in Indian universities and colleges should take the UGC NET exam in December 2023, which will be offered online. This computer-based test (CBT) comprises of two papers, Paper I and Paper II, and they will be administered back-to-back, without a pause, during the same session. Candidates will need to show up for both Paper I and Paper II in order to be considered for both JRF and Assistant Professor posts.
Every year, the National Testing Agency administers the UGC NET exam, giving aspirants the chance to pursue a career as an assistant professor or junior research fellow (JRF). Currently, there are about 83 different subjects covered by the test.
The University Grants Commission (UGC) will offer e-certificates to successful students in the UGC NET June 2023 selection process. These UGC NET e-certificates are valid for three years for JRFs, but they are valid for life for candidates hired as Assistant Professors or Lecturers. After receiving their certification, individuals can look into positions at state- or federally supported universities.
