Vivo V29 and Vivo V29 Pro have been launched in India adding more competition in the mid-range smartphone segment that already features smartphones like OnePlus 11R, Nothin Phone (2) and Pixel 7a.

Vivo V29 series will add more competition in the mid-range smartphone segment that features many other smartphones from notable brands.

Vivo Introduces the V29 and V29 Pro as Two New Smartphones in India:

The V29 and V29 Pro, two new smartphones from Vivo, were just released in India. The processor and camera are where these two mid-range smartphones differ the most from one another in terms of features.

Key specifics 

The MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SOC powers the higher-end Vivo V29 Pro, while the Vivo V29 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G chipset.

The Vivo V29’s cameras include of a 50MP main sensor with an f/1.88 aperture, an 8MP wide-angle lens, and a 2MP bokeh lens. The Vivo V29, on the other hand, has a comparable 8MP wide-angle camera and 50MP primary lens with an f/1.88 aperture, but it also has a 12MP portrait camera option in place of the standard model’s 2MP bokeh lens.

Both Vivo’s come with a 4600mAh battery that enables fast charging of up to 80W and a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2800 x 1260. There will be two storage configurations for both devices: 8GB RAM with 256GB ROM and 12GB RAM with 512GB ROM.

Prices:

The 8GB/128GB edition of the V29 costs 32,999, while the 12GB/256GB variant costs 36,999. Three color choices are offered: Himalayan Blue, Majestic Red, and Space Black.

The 8GB/256GB model of the  V29 Pro costs 39,999, and the 12GB/256GB model costs 42,999. Both Space Black and Himalayan Blue will be offered as color options for this phone.

Both smartphones will be sold at physical retail locations as well as on Vivo’s official website, Flipkart, and Reliance Retail. Pre-orders for both devices are now open.

Both phones have a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a punch-hole cutout for the front camera.

The Vivo V29 has a camera configuration with OIS that consists of a 50MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP black-and-white sensor. The 50MP front camera may be used for selfies and video calls. Along with a 50MP main camera, a 12MP portrait lens, and an 8MP ultra-wide lens, the Vivo V29 Pro also offers optical image stabilization (OIS).

A 4,600mAh battery that supports 80W rapid charging is included in both variants.
